Plasti-kote’s Sandable Primer contains a mild etching chemical for adhesion to bare metal surfaces.

  • Anti-rust, filling and sanding properties.
  • May also be used on timber.

Application Notes

Use only in well ventilated areas. Ensure surface is clean and dry. Several thin coats are recommended rather than one heavy coat.

Before applying, test spray on to an inconspicuous area to ensure compatibility and adhesion.

Sanding: for best results wet sand with No#400 sandpaper, then with No#600 sandpaper to finish.

Drying Time

Leave to dry:

5 mins between coats.

30-40mins before sanding.

30-40mins before top coating.
